Hand Bags FAQs

How do I ensure my shoes are the perfect fit?

When you purchase shoes there are many things that you need to keep in mind to ensure they are the best fit.  The most important rule is never rely on “breaking in” your shoe, if it is uncomfortable from the get go, it will probably remain that way.  You need to make sure that there is about a full thumbs width between your longest toe and the end of the shoe, this way you can grow a little and they will still fit.  Your toes also need room to move and should not be squished tightly into the shoe.  The heel of the shoe should not slip or rub, rather stay firmly in place.  When you are taking all of these measurements make sure you are standing in your shoe and not sitting.  Your foot will adjust differently in the shoe when you stand.

What type of bag is most convenient for school and work items?

There are many styles of bags; briefcases, back packs and messenger bags.  Right now the most popular work and school bags are messenger bags.  They are large so they can hold books and binders as well as pencils and other needs.  They are designed to lower the stress level of carrying such heavy items by a strap that goes over your body and is held by your shoulder.  This design also allows you to have easy access to your bag and you can flip it open or unzip it easily to reach anything in side.  Messenger bags are also very stylish and you can find a bag that is very professional or a bag that is very decorative.

Should by shoes match my bag?

It depends on who you talk to.  Some women will say yes, they always match their bags to their shoes.  Other women will say no, they have one purse and many different shoes (or vice versa).  It is all personal preference.  If you are going to an important event then maybe you should choose shoes that match your outfit and a bag that matches both of them.  However, on a daily basis it is not mandatory that you match your shoes to your purse.
